I learned to access my own Records through a training program.  I was taught a prayer to access them. The more open a person is, the more readily that information is available through intuition.  Intention combined with being open allows entry into individual Records.  The retrieval of events, emotions, thoughts, and conversations is granted when a person is in the proper frame of mind, leaving ego behind.

From my perspective, the Akashic Records are highly spiritual.  Intentions equate to prayers, actual prayers are absolutely supported during readings.  One of the beautiful things about the Akashic Records is that it includes religion and religious ideas.  The practitioner should work within the belief systems of the client around prayers, as spirituality and religion differ to some and are one and the same to others.

While there is overlap, as both modalities are intuitive, a psychic reading gathers information to interpret for the client, and offers information of events that have, are, or may happen, offering guidance though no healing.  The Akashic Records, (a journey of the Soul, is a cocreation between the practitioner and client, guided by the Divine) offer healing of deep-rooted trauma, shifting the mindset into a healthier and more supportive state.  A professional practitioner utilizes intuition to enhances the healing through information gathered from the Records.

My training says to address the emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual aspects to rewrite any event into a fresh supportive story.  The Records themselves remain the same.  You will retain all knowledge and wisdom of the events as opposed to removing or altering the information.  The dramatic changes are found in your mindset around traumas, events, thoughts, and conversations.  My personal belief is tampering with the Akashic Records themselves has a dangerous component, therefore something that I decline to do.

Akashic Records are all inclusive with a trained practitioner able to address nearly any area of your life, provided you are indeed ready for the information.Why am I angry?Why am I sad?How can I find happiness?What am I storing in (any body part with pain)? And why?Show me a past life trauma and how do I begin healing it?Why do I keep repeating self-destructive patterns?How can I learn self-care?How do I ground myself?How do I understand my Spirituality?  How do I deepen my connection?

There are two ways to access the Records, personally or via a professional practitioner.  In order to receive information, the practitioner goes through a transition phase, greets and Akashic Records Guardian(s), then are led to a room in the Records to begin the healing session. It is more difficult for many to accurately access their personal Records.  By working with a professional, you will find the practitioner has a more objective view when  processing the information received from the Records.

When I began learning Akashic Records, I was seeking support to heal my own personal traumas.  I needed assistance navigating three deaths and a car accident in roughly 15 months.  I was reeling, depressed, and super angry.  I was aware it was essential I seek support.  For me, I intuitively knew that the customary psychologist/psychiatrist was not my path.  I began seeking other ways to manage, then deal with and heal from these traumas.  This led me to energy healing modalities.

I would start with the same action I choose for any professional, ask my friends and family.  Recommendation from someone you know and trust is always a helpful place to begin.  As the understanding and benefits grow, more people will become familiar with Akashic Records readings and healings.  If there are no forthcoming recommendations from family and friends, the next step is to use the internet where you can limit the search to your area, or do a widespread search.

Individuals who are open minded and willing to look into any facet of their life are ideally suited to this work.  This is not a requirement however.  I have successfully assisted individuals who were very skeptical, in the beginning but willing to try something unique and outside their understanding and comfort zone.  Almost everything can be addressed, cleared, and healed by working with a professional Akashic Realm reader.

An authentic Akashic Records professional reader has permission from an individual prior to beginning a session to accessing their records.  One caveat is if the client is a minor, permission comes from the Guardian of the minor.  It is best to limit working with minors unless the situation is extreme.  The safety comes from selecting a credible and professional reader.  Looking for someone who has taken training and been certified, as with many professions, can alleviate the concerns.
