Akashic Record Readings as with any psychic, tarot, runes or other type of reading can be different depending on the practitioner, yet there will be common things to expect.The first Akashic Record Reading that I had was quite profound for me since it pointed me in a direction I did not expect at all, yet served me well. It also enlightened me to why I had been reluctant to put myself out there as a healer since I discovered I had been shunned by family and friends in a previous life.
I will preface my answer by saying that it’s really hard to take your ego out of the equation anytime you look into things about yourself. Whether it’s in the records, using a pendulum, tarot cards, etc. the part of you that is fully invested in this world only (ego) may trick you into seeing what it is that you WANT to see. Being open to accepting what you find is key to correctness. That said, it will require a focused and disciplined approach.
Prayers are an integral part of any work with the Akashic Records. I use a specific prayer opening the records that sets the sacredness and intention of the reading. This helps create a both a sacred and respectful space for the coming information. Prayers also invoke Divine and Spiritual energies that will help enhance the clarity and depth of information received. It will help guide you toward what you are hoping to gain knowledge about within yours or someone else’s Akashic Record. It will also guide toward what you are ready to heal.
Akashic record readings and psychic readings differ primarily in their source of information and the nature of what is accessed. An Akashic Record reading involves accessing your Akashic Records and the information found within, while a Psychic Reading is the person using heightened intuition or tools to tap into your energy to gather information.
The Akashic Records are basically history, and while you can’t change history, you can change your perception of it and the energetics it is creating in your current reality.
When I do an Akashic Records “soul story reading” I ask my guides to show me the story that is currently affecting the person that I am reading for. I do this ahead of time so the time we spend together is giving them the information I found and they can ask question about what I tell them as we go along. I also look at the soul’s matrix when it was created and how you can use your soul level gifts when creating abundance.
Accessing the Akashic Records is about tapping into a field of consciousness that contains the history of your soul and you looking at your soul’s journey. When you access the Akashic Records and connect with this higher consciousness it will help with your Spiritual Journey as well as your day to day life if you pay attention.

During our work in the Akashic Records we uncovered that she was very much in love with someone in a past life that was killed in front of her.
You know, the Universe is constantly guiding us toward our best and highest good if we only pay attention! Obviously, you can ask friends and family for a referral, but if they aren’t familiar with the term or experience, then you have to take the initiative to find someone you resonate with.
