Because the Akashic Records exist in a non-physical, spiritual dimension, they don't have a universally agreed-upon appearance. However, most people who access the records often describe them in symbolic, visual terms that reflect their own experiences.Remember because we have to interpret the symbols using part of our logic, we will experience them in a way that we can understand. How you see them is often shaped by your individual beliefs, cultural backgrounds, or spiritual practices.
The Akashic Records are a field of consciousness so are not a physical location, but on a spiritual plane. In essence, the Records are considered to be everywhere and nowhere, as they are part of a spiritual dimension that transcends the physical world.
I love the “ahas” people have with an Akashic Reading and the way it can help them to heal and have a better daily experience . It’s a pleasure to help others along their spiritual journey. I believe Lao Tzu said it best with “Mastering others is strength, mastering yourself is true power.”I feel blessed that I can do this work and know that as one heals, we all heal.
It’s interesting that the term “Akaha” comes from the Sanskrit word for “ether” or “sky” symbolizing the foundation for Hindu or other esoteric philosophies. The Akashic Ream is the higher dimension that contains the Akashic Records. This non-physical library stores the knowledge of your soul’s journey and allows insights into the soul’s purpose, past lives and karmic patterns that can help you understand and change your current reality.
The Akashic Records is a field of consciousness that can be reached through a meditative or altered state of consciousness so that you leave your logical mind “on the back burner” and allow this different state of consciousness.
Since the Records hold a blueprint of your soul, they can be used for not just insight and guidance, but healing as well. Healing with the Akashic Records is a form of spiritual healing that involves accessing the Akashic Records (see previous answers to what they are) and finding the root cause of an issue so the energy can be shifted and healed.
My personal experience was when I had my first reading and it was uncovered that I was a healer in a previous life. I was rather young and went with my mother to visit someone who was ill. I did what was instinctive and laid my hands on her and she passed away. Sometimes the healing is in letting go and leaving the body, but it was not understood. I was thought of as sort of an angel of death and feared, so was sent to a convent.
Short answer is no, but with a caveat. In reality, we are all psychic and or have psychic abilities. For me, I like to use the word intuitive rather than psychic. I think it softens the word for many people who have misunderstandings about what being psychic really is. Most people admit to having intuition about things, or say they have a “gut” feeling. Poh-ta-toe Pah-ta-toe, same innate ability that we can develop.
When I had my personal Akashic Record reading, I found it to be very useful and healing in many ways. I had first heard the term from Edgar Cayce's materials and as time went on, I would see more things about the Records. I decided to read a few books on the subject, and when a training was offered by a spiritual teacher I respected, I decided it was time to add it to my spiritual tool belt.
Because the Akashic Records are a non-physical plane of existence accessible through spiritual means such as meditation, dreams, or honed psychic abilities, they don’t “come from” anywhere per se. My first knowledge of them was from A.R.E. where mystic Edgar Cayce explained that every action, thought, desire or deed creates a vibration that marks the thread of space and time and is permanently associated with the individual (soul) responsible.
