What is an Exhibition?
Believe it or not, many in the US do not actually know truly what an Exhibition is. By popular definition in the 1800s, it was a large-scale tradeshow that was used to show the general population new technology, cultural collections, and small business development. It was so hugely popular that it led to an electrical and mechanical revolution in the United States for safety and provided an avenue for the construction of a few major British Museums.
Overtly, the root of an Exhibition is to show goods and services to the public in niche and thematic categories. While we might not be showing the latest technology in the business world, Grimoire is a purveyor of all things supernatural, paranormal and gothic horror. - I.e., our main focus is a "Halloween Witch" market that features the metaphysical and paranormal arts.
Some may ask, why pay for or attend something like this? The truth is that these services hold a very large spiritual, personal, and social value for people who love these works. Overall, it is a fulfilling experience to chat with various vendors, dress in costumes/fashion that wouldn't fit in the "real world" and to enjoy a lavish fair that represents many things that you may love.
The Metaphysical arts and Witchy entertainment also holds a deep spiritual value. While our fairs are for entertainment purposes only, there is a social connection that is graced by attending these events. Grimoire's actually main focus is to build stronger community bonds across various niches to give people a "place" and haven for self-freedom and social identity.
Social identity fulfillment is the root of the brand in that we create spaces where people are accepted for who they are. With thousands who attend these events, we get to share spiritual fulfillment across many different gothic and supernatural niches. We breed a culture where you can live out Halloween, Fairytale, Folklore, and Supernatural entertainment year-round.
Concluding thoughts: Grimoire was established in 2019. Since then, it has built a counterculture that serves communities and possess a sense of spiritual peace. Many have spoken about how our tarot readers, vendors, & other collectors have given them a sense of catharsis. We hope to see you at the next exhibition, where you can explore a Grimoire adventure and nourish your connection to the threads of supernatural entertainment, spiritual fulfillment, gothic folklore, story-time anthologies, sagas, and the world of horror fantasy.
