As a registered nurse and certified pranic healer, I bring together the best of both worlds. I respect mainstream healthcare and urge people to follow their doctor's recommendations. In addition to standard healthcare, there are holistic practices that can boost results by helping the process energetically and helping you to relax to allow healing to happen.
I was one of the first group of nurses to be on the reiki team at a prominent rehab hospital in southeastern PA. It was so fulfilling to apply reiki just after patients took pain meds and to watch them relax, which allowed the meds to work. I remember one gentleman who had knee replacement surgery, telling me that with the reiki, he could feel the pain gradually flow downward from his knees down to his feet and out.
A few short years later, I got interested in pranic healing with the blessings of my yoga teacher/reiki master mentor. She referred to pranic healing as being "powerful." So I pursued it and eventually got certified first as a certified associate pranic healer, then as a certified pranic healer, and finally as a certified pranic psychotherapist.
I have used pranic healing in clinical settings to alleviate pain, anxiety, and insomnia. In the hospital, I remember seeing startling results from a man with dementia and chronic leg pain who had been crying out for hours even after having been medicated. After some pranic healing, he had a lucid moment and directed me to make a hole in the ceiling. I met his request as best as I could and he fell fast asleep. He was peaceful and rested comfortably for the rest of his hospital stay.
I have participated in online healing pods where we as a group did pranic healing on people suffering from covid, respiratory ailments, muscle and joint injuries, post surgical care, cardiac, GI/GU, and many chronic conditions, even cancer.
In addition, pranic healing helps to relieve stress, anxiety, and insomnia. I have worked on many people who have reported having improved sleep and a more positive attitude after pranic healing sessions. There was a gentleman who suffered from extreme paranoia and we worried that he would get into a physical confrontation with others in the community. In the privacy of my office, I did distant pranic healing on him. Hours later, I met up with him and he was a different person. He beamed and said "it's gone!" He was calmer for the next few days. Keep in mind that some conditions can be addressed with a single session while most chronic illnesses require multiple sessions for permanent results.
