It is what it is
I am in favor of facts, but I tend to be leery of truth.
Truth implies always, and I really can't see that far into the future, nor am I clear enough about everything that has happened in the past to confirm always. So as soon as someone asserts something as always in all cases true, I begin planning an exit strategy. "Sorry, I've got to take this call."
Now I'm OK with, and even enjoy, "This is the way it is for me." That signals that we are dealing with someone's conviction or personal certainty. There is probably an interesting story behind the statement, and listening is easy, because I am not going to have to confirm, agree, or judge.
It is what it is—another viewpoint.

In the truth department, I am satisfied with: things change. Change happens in the internal world of our consciousness as well as in the external world of people, things, and events. This is good or bad depending upon on your position in regard to it.
If the change threatens or reduces your comfort, you will probably label it "bad." If the change brings opportunity, or increases your comfort, you will probably label it "good."
It is a relative call and subject to... yes, change.
