The ability to. deliberately direct attention is priceless!

Whether someone sees life as an adventure or as a struggle, in many ways depends on the story they tell themselves. Do they see strangers as kind or dangerous?

We've probably all met both - people who are helpful and people who want to get something from us. But the mind can decide what to expect - and that expectation can make us look forward to what comes next or to fear it.

But our stories can change - we don't feel the same every morning.

Our movie night this weekend looks into the power of stories AND our power to change them. It's funny and insightful. Please join us if you are able - the conversations and connections keep growing more and more sincere.

What a wonderful group and wonderful discussion! One of the questions we explored was

"How do we make care and compassion more valuable than self-importance and impermanent things?"
