An Ancient Skill
Source Being is obviously a very high state, and to some people it is not real...not yet. Realizing this state has been the goal of contemplative and meditative practices for thousands of years.
Contemplate means to study something carefully, to observe or imagine it from different angles and viewpoints. It is done repeatedly for a period of time in a two-stage process:
- First, you place attention on the problem, question, or concept
- And then, after a few minutes, you relax and shift your attention to something else. Concentrating, relaxing, concentrating, relaxing, etc.
Possibilities form and reform, progressing toward a moment of clarity in which you achieve insights and realizations.
Contemplation can take you beyond the familiar consciousness that you define as "mine" into several levels of impersonal consciousness culminating in the fabled akashic record, depository of all life experience.
