My dear friend Margaret has every volume and has read, studied, and deeply understood every word of the teaching of Alice Bailey.
It was as though her DNA could absorb these teachings, soaking them up as if they had been downloaded from heaven above.
For 30 years, Margaret had a remarkable photographic memory that allowed her to retain an extraordinary amount of wisdom. She was truly a Master.
Margaret is now approaching 90 years of age and has gently moved into a steady stream of peace. Her memory has faded, but her essence remains exactly where it needs to be. There is a beautiful balance, a deep peace, and a sweet, quiet yearning to go home.
I love Margaret dearly, and I believe we have shared several lifetimes together.
She has always possessed a brilliant mind and, equally, a loving and welcoming heart.
She is still with us, and I speak with her every week. Our conversations have changed, and they are much shorter now, but the depth of our relationship has not changed. Our relationship is eternal.
Years ago, Margaret gave me a book called *Bridges*. It was perfect for me and for my level of understanding.
You see, perhaps in this lifetime, it was Margaret’s turn to receive and hold vast amounts of wisdom from our beloved Alice Bailey. For more than 30 years, she carried these teachings within her and shared them generously with seekers, scholars, poets, healers, clairvoyants, psychics, academics, and so many others drawn to these profound and powerful teachings.
Then, as the years passed, the wisdom was carried forward by others who had learned from her. They continued to carry the torch, while Margaret gradually stepped back into a life of peaceful, contented knowing.
And that book, *Bridges*, that Margaret gave to me?
Margaret knew it was the right book for me at the right time. She knew me so well. Bless her heart.
Perhaps throughout our many lifetimes together, we have taken turns being teacher and student, Master and disciple, mother and daughter, father and son, Mother Superior and novice, priest and layperson, and so many other forms of companionship.
The roles may have changed, but the core eternal flame, our true essence, never did.
Most importantly, we have always carried love, support, compassion, kindness, patience, and the deepest respect for one another.
Isn’t it wonderful how God brings such blessed companionship into our lives?
Some souls seem to find one another again and again, taking different paths and different roles, yet somehow recognizing one another at the heart level.
Margaret is one of those precious souls in my life. And she taught me the simple truths and wisdoms of our beloved Alice Bailey. And yes, Margaret and I even go back as far as the time of Christ. We were followers and we were His friends.
And through it all, I am deeply grateful that, in this lifetime, God brought us together once again.
