I'm going to speak specifically about my modality, Channeled Alchemical Energy Healing:

This depends on the sensitivity of the client, the frequency of the energy being utilized, and its intensity.  Some feel absolutely nothing during the session but rather notice that it's as if they're seeing through different eyes, feel energetically lighter, feel emotionally uplifted, etc.

That's entirely up to you because it depends on how you're feeling emotionally and physically and how you're doing emotionally and everyone is different.  If you're feeling great and all is well, there's no need.

Energy Healing is a broad term that refers to several modalities, including Reiki.  So, yes, Reiki is a form of energy healing.
