If you want to create a life you really like, the first step I recommend is to question your intentions. Are they really yours?

You may have spent years twisting and hammering your intentions to fit what everyone says is possible. Everyone is a lot of people but not quite enough to tell you what you really, really want.

If you could do anything, what would it be? You may need to go all the way back to kindergarten to get to the uncensored version. You don’t have to pursue that, just be aware of it from the standpoint of the current you.

What have you been longing to do?
What would be meaningful?
What would bring satisfaction?

List every rule or limitation you can think of and take a good hard look at it. Is it true? Research exceptions to the rules.

What is possible? If someone else achieved what you really want then it’s possible. Are you really the exception? Are there credentials or an age limit? Are there acceptable ways and means?

I’m not asking you to change your mind just now, but it’s a good idea to open it just a bit and let some new ideas in…ideas which could shed some light on your heart and create more happiness for you.
