Common wisdom holds that human intelligence is a rational, brain based, sort of thinking. You have been taught to use your head and figure things out. Don’t let emotions get in the way! We ignore or even disparage spiritual knowledge or non rational approaches, and yet we celebrate the creative; those with inner magic. Which of us learned about creatively in our education?
And no wonder, when creativity comes from an intuitive intelligence. Much of it takes place outside of conscious awareness and we just see the effects of it if we are lucky. These effects have magic properties, that seem to come “out of the blue.”
Just as there is a brain in the head, we are discovering brain-like neurology centered in the heart and also in the gut and these seem to be involved in a wider range of consciousness than we are ready to admit. Perhaps this could be taught in school since we still use language that unscientifically commends using the head.
Something wonderful happens with age, however. If you aren’t too distracted by worries that your turkey neck will give away your age, you might notice this change in energy your inner magic.
With age we are freed somewhat from subscribing to common knowledge and might also use time more freely. For the lucky ones among us, the inner creative source may become more obvious. We may be exploring various activities quite freely and using time differently. If we are lucky, we learn to use this mystical component of our consciousness. And we see it’s not coming out of the intellect.
From all around us, prevailing thought encourages the mature to fight aging in a huge cloud of resistance to physical and social changes. There is no winning when we fight what is, and we may miss all the inner magic and intuitive creativity around us; coming out of the blue.
Intuitive creativity is a mostly overlooked source of power to the mature. But it is indeed a huge source of mature power. And whether it comes out of the blue, out of the higher self or out of a magic lamp, you can learn to encourage it and entice it into a more active role in life.
Using your higher self; the superconscious; your inner magic genius; is to create and know on a different level, using more of the consciousness that will express your true nature and purpose. This added dimension to life is very rewarding and fun.
We are told there is a consciousness shift underway and I think it may not come from the young so much as it comes from the mature.
How many of us feel called to intuit and create? I wish more did because the mature represent a fairly significant chunk of the population. This inner wisdom is already there. All the life experience, all the perspective contributing to it.
We who are mature can make the world a better place without being subject to so much group think as you once were. This is not time to forget your purpose in the world but to find it. When you live in your true nature and purpose, life is more fun, you become super creative and filled with energy.
You can still see cheap-o movies and even lie about your age. And if you have always been intellectual, your creative superconscious will provide plenty of food for the intellect to figure out.
In fact, using the entire intelligence and the inner magic of unique genius and divinity, could well produce the shift in consciousness this planet needs.
