This week we will experience a full moon eclipse. Why is that important? If you are within my circle you may already know that the Full Moon amplifies what is already present. It shines a light on what has been hidden, unspoken, or gently waiting to be acknowledged. It is not here to disturb us, it is not scary, it doesn’t carry any type of negativity. It is here to illuminate.
Eclipses carry this energy even deeper.
They are powerful reset points. Portals of release and realignment. They can feel destabilizing because they gently (or sometimes not so gently) move us out of old patterns and into a new energetic space. For both humans and animals, this can show up as emotional shifts, physical detox symptoms, vivid dreams, or behavioral changes.
So for this week especially:
Be mindful and aware of your feelings and also how your animal companion is behaving and feeling;
Are you feeling calm or more on the edge? Are they?
Are you over reacting or could care less? Are they?
Or perhaps is more of the opposite and you and your animal companion are enjoying more calm?
This is also a reminder to walk (or run) at your own pace versus the pace of others as well as allow your sweet animal companion to walk (or run) at your own pace.
Full moons and eclipses are usually very calming times for me, a time for more silent and mindfulness than usual plus I do love walking on a full moon light! How about you?
